Last night’s debate

Watched it. What’d you people think?Cheney’s “I never met Edwards until he walked on this stage” was patently false: Edwards escorted Liddy Dole when Cheney swore her in to the Senate. But what do you expect?

Other than that, Cheney’s just an ass.

Trying to be unbiased, it appeared pretty close, or at least a lot closer than the Kerry/Bush debate. Cheney skipped a 30 second reply quite a few times though, and often appeared agitated while Edwards spoke, while Edwards seemed to maintain his dignity for the most part. When Cheney spoke, he almost acted “above it” by skipping replies and often talked in a calmer, slower manner than Edwards, who (though he made a lot of good points) might have spoken more quickly than the general public could appreciate. *shrug*

Yup. Edwards is a stud. Cheney’s Skeletor. (And I don’t owe Edwards 500 bucks, he didn’t get Cheney to tell him to go fuck himself)

You know, it’s amazing that Edwards and Cheney are only 12 years apart — Cheney is 63 and Edwards is 51.
