Roleplaying Party

While I was in Colorado last weekend for the wedding of some good friends, I had a chance to engage in my most favorite hobby– Tabletop pen-and-paper roleplaying, or RPGing as the cool kids call it. Actually, I’m under the impression they refer to it as “r00l p7AyN, suXXoRZ”, but I never liked the cool kids anyway. Read on for pictures!
Roleplaying games, for those who don’t know, are a little like improvisational theatre, a little like playing “Cops and Robbers”, a little like collaborative stroytelling, and a LOT like fun. They are almost certainly NOT the devil-worshipping inspiring terrors that they were accused of being (well, once in the 80s, and it’s become a community in-joke). Then again, looking at my glowing red eyes in this picture of my friends and I roleplaying, you have to wonder…

Here’s another pice picture of us playing:

Next up, we have some pictures of us all hanging out earlier in the day.

Looks like fun, eh?
