Article on My Grandpa

The Rocky Mountain News wrote an article on my grandfather for their obituaries section. It’s interesting, especially since I didn’t know half of this stuff.
Anyway, my Dad thought I should post this link to it on my site, and I agree.

wow! that’s really neat! I had no idea your grandfather was such a big-wig at Gates! and it sounds like he had such an interesting life too 🙂

so..how come they didn’t interview you? 😉

That is really cool stuff. When will you get the CD that your cousins are making about your grandfather’s life?

I don’t know when I’ll get it, but I think they should be making copies soon.

Know what was really crappy, though? The church said it was recording the service, with my Dad’s speech and the singer and everything… and the tape turned out to be blank when all was said and done. But, we all still have the memory of it.

It’s werid– in younger pictures of my grandpa, I see at least some resemblence (though I also have a lot from my mother’s side). I wonder how I’ll look at 60 or so.

That does suck that they didn’t get the service recorded. Worse things could’ve happened, though. Is your aunt feeling better about things now?

I’m sure that you could find some software somewhere that would theoretically age you . . . I could do on The Sims 2, if I could create one that looked enough like you. 🙂
