Congratulations for Teisha~
you guys are just sweet together ^o^
Thank you for the kind words, everyone– it’s a good sign that everyone is as enthusiastic as we are!
On our third anniversary (which is Halloween– our first date was when Teisha flew out to join me for Halloween in San Francisco), we went out for a nice crab dinner at a cute little crab-shack on the end of the Santa Barbara wharf. We got a nice evening- good food, watching the sunset, and a good time. Teisha and I plan everything together, so she pretty much knew what was up, so when dinner ended, Teisha looked at me and playfully said, “well??” I told her that we should walk out to the edge of the wharf, and once there, I had her sit on a bench, and I got down on my knee and proposed. Yay!
Teisha’s ring is a solid stone band of Tiger’s Eye, but we may need to change it– the smallest size we could find is size 5, and that’s just not small enough for her tiny fingers (she’s like a 4, maybe a 3.75). It’s pretty, though!

Just read a fascinating (if lengthy) essay on disruptive technology and the future of scientific publishing. Well worth the read!
Just wanted to share Mint.com’s Visual Guide to Deflation, which is quite explanatory.

Okay, I’ll admit that it’s entirely possible that I am the last person to learn about this website*, but it’s really addictive.ÂÂ
