Thank you for the kind words, everyone– it’s a good sign that everyone is as enthusiastic as we are!

On our third anniversary (which is Halloween– our first date was when Teisha flew out to join me for Halloween in San Francisco), we went out for a nice crab dinner at a cute little crab-shack on the end of the Santa Barbara wharf. We got a nice evening- good food, watching the sunset, and a good time. Teisha and I plan everything together, so she pretty much knew what was up, so when dinner ended, Teisha looked at me and playfully said, “well??” I told her that we should walk out to the edge of the wharf, and once there, I had her sit on a bench, and I got down on my knee and proposed. Yay!

Teisha’s ring is a solid stone band of Tiger’s Eye, but we may need to change it– the smallest size we could find is size 5, and that’s just not small enough for her tiny fingers (she’s like a 4, maybe a 3.75). It’s pretty, though!

and this mom is so happy she can’t even read the posts without getting teary-eyed! (acchhkk! what will I be like at the wedding?!) Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a more thoughtful, thought-provoking, considerate, fun, interesting, knowledgeable and all-around wonderful future son-in-law than Andrew — thank you so much Teisha for your great choice!
