Game Crazy

Maybe it’s the changing season, but lately I’ve been a little crazy about games; traditional or video, single or multiplayer, games have been on my mind and in my hands. The biggest time sinks? Portal, Team Fortress 2, Magic: the Gathering, Super Mario Galaxy, Changeling: the Lost, and Hex Hex.
Is anyone else feeling the gaming urge?

With the release of Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, not to mention the upcoming lightsaber game for the Wii, I’ve been tempted. I don’t have the time (or inclination) to make it worthwhile to purchase a system though.

I need friends with these games 😛

I’m looking at getting a laptop basically just so I can play TF2 and a couple of other games (I currently am using the same desktop box I had back in college).

One of my neighbors has GH3, so I get my jones out on that, and another of my neighbors has a Wii, so I can go over there and play Wii sports. When the Wii lightsaber game comes out, certain of my friends and I are already planning some online fights.

If you’re looking at a laptop for gaming, I’ve been very happy with the Lenovo T61p. It’s a bit more expensive than an equivalent Dell, but the build quality is excellent.
