The Best Photo You’ve Ever Snapped

Believe it or not, even though I have the insta-zoom, five years old, cheapo digital camera; I actually really enjoy photography as an art form and once took a dark room class. My favorite photograph which I actually took myself was a floral shot of some bromeliads at the Denver Botanical Garden, and which I still use as a computer desktop background to this day (read on to see the photo).
Ever have a photo you’ve taken that you’re proud of? Share!
Here’s my photo:

On a side note, if you want to share a photo but need a place to store it on the web, The PD Gallery should allow anyone with author status here (almost all registered users) to upload photos. If you do, please put them in the Guest Galleries, but feel welcome to use it for whatever photos you want to share! You can even make your own sub-albums in Guest Galleries to hold all your photos.

That’s absolutely beautiful, Shaz!
In honor of it, I fiddled with the code that “protects” the comments, in order to allow images (and then I edited your post to put the thumbnail in). Great shot! Have any others which you’re especially proud of?

Great photos, Shaz– sorry this comment languished in the moderation queue for as long as it did. I have it set to stop messages with more than a few links to cut down on the spam– but I have filtering tools that do a great job, so I’ll go repeal that limit a bit. (since it seems to bite you a lot!)
