Roleplaying Bananza

Over the last few days, I’ve received a lot of new roleplaying games in the mail…. Specifically, the new incarnations of both the World of Darkness, and of GURPS. Let me just say, GURPS 4th edition is beautiful. Not only is the book a wonderful full-color hardback, but the rules changes are excellent, and it’s so clean and efficient. The new World of Darkness is certainly cleaned up (and it needed it!), but unsurprising beyond the clean-up.

Boy does WoD look easier

But with so much less detail– The GURPS character feels like me, a record of my personality, skills, interests. The WoD character sheet could be almost any middle class college grad in biochemistry.

*shrugs* That’s why I love Unknown Armies… it straddles a line somewhere between these two extremes.

Teisha, one day you will know Andrew, and realize the true humor of that statement.

It’s amazing how one finds time to live real life 🙂

Well, I have noticed that somehow he manages to do a ton of (different) stuff..

And yes, that honestly does amaze me.

So, about the GURPS character . . . I seem to remember some complaint about a faulty heart . . . was that taken into account in the Health category?

Um . . . real life? Druid? I didn’t even think he was a real person, just a computer generated character that “runs” this website.
