Quote for the day…

From “Little Children” by Tom Perrotta, in reference to Steve from Blue’s Clues:“Oh, Steve, run away with me! We can hole up in a flophouse and smoke crack for a couple of days.”

Funny book so far, about yuppie family-dom.

Heh. Sounds interesting.

Is the book a work of fiction or non-fiction?

Fiction.

It’s a kids show where Steve, the host, interacts with an animated blue dog (appropriately named “Blue”) and an entirely animated environment, while looking for clues to solve simple mysteries and the like. Steve is a skinny, goofy-looking guy, who apparently was fired for hitting the nose candy too hard.

What is the “Blue’s Clues” you speak of?
And who is this “Steve”?

Wow. He should have just stuck to cheap booze and hookers. That seems to work for other kiddie show hosts.

(“My stepdad’s not mean, he’s just adjusting.”)
